last time I was here I said I was back, then my computer fried. I’m renting one now, but have become really busy.
Learn the truth, think truth, speak truth!!!
The Hollywood created image of the savage beast Native American.
Cafe Press is selling a t-shirt with the image of a white woman in a Native American war bonnet drinking a beer, with the words “My Indian name is Runs-With-Beer.”

Production Notes :
” They made us many promises, more than I can remember. But they kept one. They promised they would take our land…and they took it.” —Chief Red Cloud.
The lack of understanding between cultures is always related to ignorance.
We all have many questions about one another we would ask if we could or if we had the courage.
Some these unanswered questions about Native Americans that have lingered for generations are the subject of this film .
Many questions have been blown away by the wind, and many answers have burned in the fires.
To get to know ones’ neighbor is not to become a neighbor, but rather to learn to respect him and his culture, his roots and what he is.
The Story :
This documentary tells the story of the meeting between a young Native American from the Lakota tribe, Moses Brings Plenty who is a descendent of the Lakota, and a 12-year-old French boy named Eli Torelli has come here to learn about the Native Americans that fascinated him in France.
One night, Eli dreams of a native man, and the next day Moses Brings Plenty comes to his school to lecture. Moses will become Eli’s guide, bringing him to his reservation in Pine Ridge South Dakota, bringing to light and introducing to him the world of the Lakota elders, and the reality of life on a reservation in the present day.
Eli, who is sincere and forthright in only the way children can be, will receive, from the elders, heritage from the past, learning their history, their suffering and their culture.
At the same time he will discover what the fruits of this history are and witness their everyday life on a reservation and the problems they have to deal with from day to day.
Brings Plenty and Eli will continue their spiritual voyage in the past exploring the ghastly history of Wounded Knee in 1890 up to the present . Eli will learn that the problems besetting his friend Moses’ people, actually affect some of the of Native Americans of our times.
People are crazy.
I’m not ignorant or racist. Quite the opposite of both actually.
My friends and I dress up, all the time. We dress up in karate outfits, does that mean we passionately hate Japanese people and we’re dressing up in karate outfits to mock them? …Cause that would make sense. Nope….
karate outfits would be uniforms, not an imitation of a race of people. Birds are animals, not human beings. Dressing up as “eskimos” is offensive and incorrect on multiple levels.
Instead of getting defensive and using the really tired “I’m not racist” line, you should actually listen to what people were saying to you. What you did IS offensive, the people you were imitating told you so. It doesn’t matter if you thought it was harmless, the people you were pretending to be told you we don’t find it flattering, we find it insulting.
Dressing up as a racial stereotype of another human being is racist. That is what you did, so that means your actions were racist, whether you intended them to be or not.
Making up weak explanations for why you did it doesn’t excuse the fact that what you did was wrong
That is a picture of Keisha Crowther who call herself “Little Grandmother” and claims to be a messenger for Native Peoples who have said they don’t know her. She is a fraud, a plastic shaman, and no proof of Native Blood whatsoever. She has taken in a lot of Wannabes and gotten into their their wallets with her act. With all due respect to the Native American people.
It is NOT respectful to dress up as another race of human being, no matter how innocent your intentions. It is cultural appropriation, there’s nothing respectful about playing dress up of my culture or my race.
Posting saying that you had a powwow, and then deleting the post once natives told you it offended them should have been enough. Posting this, saying “with all due respect” does not excuse the fact that what you did IS offensive and hurtful to Native and First Nations people
With all due respect you’re an ignorant fuck.
Wipe that bird shit off your face and pick up a fucking book. What the-with all due respect to the Native American people?
Who dropped you on yer head?
Dressing up as a racist stereotype of Native American people is how you show respect to them?
What’s next? You respect Black people by enslaving them?
You got some real sick logic there, child.
This is what genocide looks like.
They make them think all the Natives are gone, and they dress up like us to promote the fact that we’re all “extinct” or “mystical historical beings”. Our culture, and our heritage are still strong, and there’s nothing they can do about that. We will keep fighting for our right to be respected among the Non-Native community. We deserve to have some respect after all we’ve been through.
“All due respect.” Just…lol.
all of you…calm yo tits damn.
Yeah… holy poop people.
Calm down.
I guess I’m one of the few people who really doesn’t see this as a big deal. Call me ignorant, I guess.
Well I guess we can say fuck Halloween then?
if the only halloween costumes you can think of are racial stereotypes then that’s really pathetic
grow some creativity
